Discover the beautiful Breton architecture and natural landscapes with this Vannes & Gulf du Morbihan Day Trip from Nantes.
Vannes & Gulf du Morbihan Day Trip
At 8:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Nantes and set off for the coast of Brittany.
Our first stop will be on the coast of the Gulf of Morbihan, to enjoy a peaceful boat ride in this beautiful natural area of the Bay of Quiberon. Do you know what the words Mor Bihan mean in the Breton language? We'll discover it during the crossing!
After the boat trip, we'll go by road to the picturesque Breton town of Vannes. There, in a classic bistro in the historic centre, we'll have a typical French lunch which will include various specialities of the region. Once we have recovered our strength, we'll embark on a guided tour of the old town of Vannes.
During the walk, we'll see its old ramparts and contemplate the half-timbered houses, very typical in Brittany. In addition, we'll pass by the Place des Lices and the gothic cathedral of Saint Pierre to learn about its history.
Finally, at 6:30 pm we'll return to your hotel in Nantes.
The tour includes pick-up and return transfer to hotels in the centre of Nantes. If you're staying in other more remote areas, we'll pick you up at the Bacchus bus station, located on Avenue Allée de la Maison Rouge.
All of our providers comply with local legislation and applicable health recommendations regarding protective material and safety to help avoid the spread of Covid-19.
