Discover the history and hometown of one of the most influential bands in the world with this free tour of the Beatles in Liverpool.
The Beatles Free Tour
We'll meet at the entrance to Chinatown at 2 pm to set off on our walking tour of Liverpool - welcome to the hometown of the Beatles!
First, we'll head towards the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and learn all about how one of the band's members founded this famous institute. Next, we'll head past some of the pubs where they started their musical career until we reach the famous record store, NEMS.
Afterwards, we'll visit the statue of Eleanor Rigby to find out who she was and why they dedicated a song to her. Then we'll visit some even more iconic statues; those of John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr!
Lastly, we'll end the free tour at to the famous Cavern Club, where we'll get to admire the Wall of Fame and take in the atmosphere of a place where the Beatles played nearly 300 times! The free tour will end here at 4:30 pm.
Free tours do not have a fixed price, rather each person offers the guide the amount they consider appropriate, depending on their level of satisfaction.
