Why visit the Markt?

The Markt has been the heart of Bruges since medieval times, serving as a market square, a venue for festivals, and a meeting point for locals and travellers alike.

Within the square, you'll also find the Belfry, one of the city's most iconic landmarks, and the setting for some of the most memorable scenes from the film In Bruges!
